Scrapbook YOU! Day 21 {Adult Years}

Today we are scrapbooking travel.

Do you have the longing to travel? Or are you happy to stay much closer to home? On today’s layout you will scrapbook your opinions or experiences about travel.

You may choose to focus on one specific trip.

You might want to feature your most memorable destination.

Who chooses where and when you will go?

What is your travel wish list?

Do you have a travel motto?

What do you do while you are on vacation?

Is there one place you keep going back to?

Share photos, or postcards of places you’ve travelled.

Find stock photography of places you’ve been, or would like to go.

(Please do not Pin images from this class.)

Use travel symbols: arrows, globes, footprints, a compass rose, and maps.

Example: I happened to find the perfect sheet of scrapbook paper for this layout. (Sightseeing Stew Poached Photos – Jillibean Soup). Use other maps on your layouts too, it doesn’t have to be a map of the world, perhaps it’s a map of a campground or the map of a theme park.

Use travel quotes:

  • We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.
  • I want to make memories all over the world.
  • It’s good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end. – Ernest Hemingway
  • The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. – St. Agustine
  • Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before. – Dalai Lama
  • I would rather own little and see the world, than own the world and see little of it. – Alexander Sattler
  • Actually, the best gift you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures… – Lewis Carroll
