Scrapbook YOU! Day 19 {The Early Adult Years}

Today we are scrapbooking our work.

What if you didn’t have a paid job? What is your day to day job? Scrapbook that instead!

What kind of work do you do?

Do you like your work?

What does a day at work look like for you?

Do you take lunch with you? What do you take?

Do you have photos of you at work?

Take photos of your work tools. eg.) computer, pencils, calculators, hammer, wrench, lab equipment, etc.

Where do you work? What does your workspace look like?

What do you wear to work? Suits, heels, coveralls, hard hat, uniform?

Photo of your lunchbox or restaurant you frequent.

Consider creating a timeline that shows the activities of your day.

Symbolism: Clocks, staplers, paperclips, computers, men at work signs, gears, briefcase, hammer, lunchbox, caution signs, etc.

Try a work related quote:

  • I never did a day’s work in my life, it was all fun. – Thomas Edison
  • The only way to do great work is to love what you do. – Steve Jobs
  • You don’t always get what you wish for, you do get what you work for.
  • Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven’t planted.
  • Dreams don’t work unless you do.
  • Do what is right, not what is easy.
  • Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. – Confucius
  • Work to live, don’t live to work.
